Mechanè – per fisarmonica

La ridondanza, la ripetizione, un flusso musicale coerente e la sua stessa contraddizione sono i temi di ricerca del brano. Nell’interferenza “stereofonica” tra le due mani, continuamente si va disfacendo la cellula melodica iniziale, fino al solo rumore dei tasti: una ricerca quindi sulla meccanicità dello strumento che porta alla fine alla scoperta del suono vibrante dei battimenti stessi, ottenibili solo grazie alla collaborazione di entrambe le mani “stereofoniche”.

The research themes of the piece are redundancy, repetition, a coherent musical flow and its very contradiction. In the “stereophonic” interference between the two hands, the initial melodic cell is continually unraveled, until only the noise of the keys remains: an exploration of the mechanical nature of the instrument that ultimately leads to the discovery of the vibrant sound of the beats themselves, achievable only through the collaboration of both “stereophonic” hands.
