La fisarmonica è un caso particolare nella famiglia degli aerofoni: il suono non nasce soltanto dall’aria sulle ance, ma da una catena di azioni tattili, di pressione, resistenza e rilascio. Il mantice, le valvole, il bottone dell’aria, i meccanismi della tastiera, i micro-spostamenti del corpo, l’economia del peso e dell’equilibrio, tutto questo modella il risultato sonoro tanto quanto altezza e ritmo.

Tattile is a contemporary work for accordion, and the first piece in a cycle that approaches the instrument through the performer’s intimate posture and gesture. The accordion is a special case in the family of aerophones: sound is not simply “air into reeds,” but a whole chain of tactile actions, pressure, resistance, and release. The bellows, the valves, the air button, the keyboard mechanisms, the silent shifts of weight and balance in the body, all of this shapes the sonic result as much as pitch and rhythm.
