Il titolo dell'album è stato scelto direttamente dagli esecutori che hanno realizzato il progetto di produzione musicale. Usato dal greco Aristofane per definire la musica contemporanea del suo tempo, Stepsimallos significa letteralmente "attorcigliato" ed è qui utilizzato in accezione positiva per offrire musica nuova all'apprezzamento del grande pubblico.

The title of the album was chosen directly by the performers who carried out the music production project. Used by the Greek Aristophanes to define contemporary music of his time, Stepsimallos literally means "twisted" and is used here in a positive sense to offer new music to the appreciation of the general public.

“Lamento” è uno studio scritto pensando alle necessità di un’orchestra scolastica. L’obiettivo è quello di permettere agli studenti di concentrarsi sulla cura del suono e di coinvolgerli in un brano che, seppur “semplice”, non manca di momenti caratterizzati da grandi masse sonore e ritmi serrati.

“Lamento” is a composition written with the needs of a school orchestra in mind. The goal is to allow students to focus on sound and to involve them in a piece that, although “simple”, does not lack moments characterized by large masses of sound and tight rhythms.
