The piano piece Rêverie draws inspiration from Debussy’s imagination and his aesthetic study of art and music in particular. It is aimed not just at narrating, but rather at evoking the feeling, the atmosphere of a remote world, clouded by distance and at the same time, dazzled ,as the title suggests, by the undefinable colors of a fantastic dream.
