Adelaïde, Einsam wandelt dein Freund op. 46 (Solitario va il tuo amico – Ludwig van Beethoven) trascrizione per fisarmonica

Lied dedicato a Friedrich Matthisson (1795 – 1796) che, nell’edizione dei suoi poemi apparsa nel 1815 accompagnò il testo dell’Adelaïde con questa nota: «Vari maestri hanno voluto dare vita musicale a questa piccola fantasia lirica; ma nessuno, secondo il mio interiore convincimento, ha messo il testo in tanto profonda ombra quanto il geniale Ludwig van Beethoven».
Il lied registrò al suo apparire un entusiastico successo che l’accompagnò ancora per molti anni. In questa trascrizione, qualche volta la scrittura pianistica è stata sostanzialmente ripensata e distillata per poter mettere in maggior evidenza le linee melodiche più interessanti e bilanciare meglio il gioco delle voci.

Lied dedicated to Friedrich Matthisson, 1795 – 1796. About three years after his composition, Beethoven sent the work to Matthisson, author of the poetic text, with a note letter of dedication. In the edition of his poems which appeared in 1815, Matthisson accompanied Adelaïde’s text with this note: «Several teachers wanted to give musical life to this small lyrical fantasy; but no one, according to my inner conviction, has put the text in as deep a shadow as the brilliant Ludwig van Beethoven». The lied had an enthusiastic success that lasted for many years. In this transcription, sometimes piano writing has been substantially rethought and distilled in order to highlight the most interesting melodic lines and better balance the game of voices.
